How virtual op-shop visits work

Face-time video technology: Emerald Again uses face-time video call technology to enable participants to go browsing virtually inside an op-shop. It’s everyday technology that most of us already use, like Zoom or FaceTime.

I’m at the op-shop, and the participant is where they’re most comfortable: If you’re a participant, it means you can now go op shop browsing from the comfort of your home, or wherever suits best. I understand that sometimes it’s hard to get to an op-shop in person, and I’m here to bridge that gap for you by being there for you instead. We use video-call so that you can see everything in the shop that I can see.

You direct me, and we enjoy it together: I’ll show you around, and you can direct me to what you like. Together we’ll enjoy the thrill of the op-shop browse, and finding those hidden gems.
